Outlines Responsibilities

  • Serving of members and customers in the bar
  • Complete weekly activities in accordance with the procedure’s manual
  • Comply with all Health & Safety procedure
  • Reservations and party bookings
  • Running of the entertainment facilities

  • Selling of retail and clubhouse products
  • To maintain highest level of customer service, care and cleanliness and to complete customer journey daily
  • To maintain a professional attitude whilst on duty

Customer Service

Running of entertainment facilities

  • Ensure all events run well and customers are happy
  • Weekly health and safety checks
  • Run daily premises checks including the customer journey
  • Ensure that the staff are update with training and that the understand daily, weekly and months jobs
  • To have new and innovative ways of keeping the shop and activities current and trendy

Selling of clubhouse products

  • Ensure conversant with all current golf stock and be able to discuss USP’s with customers
  • Display all stock when it has been assigned a Barcode number (making sure it is correct).

Support in the back-office duties

  • Responsible for liaison with alarm and security companies.
  • Input deliveries and check them against invoices
  • Undertake stock counts and control stock loss
  • Ensure compliance with Health and safety procedures and risk assessments
  • Attend weekly management meetings when the Manager is unavailable
  • To arrange and hold monthly team meetings with The Clubhouse Manager
  • Component with placing orders for the kitchen and bar
  • To be able to amend or even produce a monthly rota for the team

Procedures manual

  • To complete the daily and weekly activities as set out in the procedure’s manual including cashing up tills and locking up premises
  • To sign off all control sheets in accordance with the procedure’s manual
  • Ensure that stock rotation procedures are carried out with each delivery and evening stock up
  • All stocks are stored in the correct & safe manner and input all invoices on the system
  • Health and Safety checks on all activities

Health & Safety

  • Ensure kitchen, bar and activities meet health & safety and first aid legislation and practices reporting all concerns immediately to a Manager
  • To operate within health & safety best practice guidelines as specified in employment handbook

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £9.00-£10.00 per hour
